Vanessa was shifted to San Diego with her younger sister, Stella, in her childhood. Since then, she developed a strong interest in music, conceivably inspired from her grandparents who were part of the musical scenario of the 30s. From the age of 8, she began participating in the musicals of her locality like The King and I, Cinderella and Evita. After a while, she went to London, with her parents, to pursue music and drama.
